• Favorite Organism: Planarian because I love how silly they look, and I think it’s really cool how they can regenerate from small fragments!

• Why TriBeta? I love TriBeta because of the ability to connect with biology faculty and peers. I enjoy volunteering, going on trips, and having conversations with other biology students. TriBeta has allowed me to connect with others in the field of biology in ways I didn’t think possible. I’ve gained new perspectives and a better understanding of what others do in the field of biology.

• Which lab equipment best describes your personality and why? I would say I am a microscope because I tend to notice small details that others often miss.

• ⁠Why Tribeta? I chose tribeta because it was a place that made me feel welcomed. Being in tribeta has provided me with many opportunities for volunteering , connecting with peers, and faculty members. It showed how much more my degree has to offer than aiding in the pre-med journey.

• ⁠Which lab equipment best describes your personality and why? I think a beaker best describes my personality because I am adaptable and ready for whatever steps are next.

Tri Beta will be having a percentage night at Surcheros next Monday (4/27)!!! Come get some delicious food to help our club! 🌮 - Don’t forget to submit a picture for points!! 📸

We had so much fun on our Spring Trip to Savannah this past weekend!! We attended a dolphin ecology tour on the Savannah river 🐬and a ghost tour through historic downtown Savannah!👻 Thank you to everyone who came; we had a blast! 🌼🌸

Our w**d out last weekend with Dr. Harvey was a huge success!! We had so much fun cleaning up and bettering our Biological Sciences Building!! Swipe to see some before and after photos! 🌿🌱🌳

Our next General Body Meeting is this Thursday (April 16th) at 7PM in room 1109 of the Bio Sci Building!! This meeting we will hear from our advisors and vote on the exec board for next school year! 🗳️

Lab Tours are this Tuesday (April 14th) at 6PM! Come tour some of our professors labs to get connected with the research going on within our bio department! We will be touring different labs than last semester and you can sign up on the link tree! 🔬🥽🧪

Tomorrow (April 13th) is our Pie an Exec Member fundraiser!! It will take place at the Russell Union rotunda from 12PM-4PM. You can receive points by donating shaving cream, taking a picture with an exec member, or if you pie an exec member!!

Don’t forget about our w**d out!! It will take place this Saturday (4/11)! 🌿Breakfast will be provided!! 🍩

Reminder!!! Our next GBM is this Thursday (4/2)!! 🐣🌷This week will be a fun spring social for our members with pizza provided 🍕!! We can’t wait to see you there
