✨ STYLE ✨

Style is about so much more than what you wear. To me, beauty is found in uniqueness, and style looks different on everyone.

Some days, my style is athletic gear chasing goals on the court or in the gym. Other days, it’s a pageant gown under the stage lights. And often, it’s a pair of scrubs as I serve others in the medical field.

True style isn’t about fitting into one mold, but instead about embracing who you are, and having confidence ✨👑

From the softball diamond to the Miss Georgia spotlight, Gabriella and I are ready to hit the stage together in Columbus!🥎✨

Fun fact: Gabriella is an All-Star athlete, just as I was when I was her age! Watching her play against the same teams that I used to play against was so nostalgic and brought me back to my favorite memories of playing basketball with my dad as my coach🥹. Our love for sports is something we both bond over!

Columbus, here we come! 👑

❤️ SERVICE ❤️

A crown has the power to open doors, but its greatest purpose is opening hearts. As a titleholder, I believe community service is incredibly important. However, inspiring others to become just as involved and passionate is even more powerful, because real change happens when we work together to make a difference in our communities and around the world.

As a representative of Georgia Southern and also a previous community service chairperson of my sorority, I have been so blessed with so many opportunities not only to serve, but to get others involved in service as well. Service has given me the opportunity to share a cause that is deeply personal to me. Through The H.E.A.R.T. Initiative (Helping Every Adoptive Relationship Together), I have been able to advocate for adoption awareness, encourage kindness and understanding, and support children and families whose stories deserve to be celebrated.

Whether reading to elementary students, partnering with adoption organizations, creating educational resources, collecting donation items for charities, or speaking to community groups, I have learned that even small acts of service can create lasting impact.

The greatest gift this crown has given me is the opportunity to serve.

📚✨ SCHOLARSHIP ✨📚

Education is about more than earning a degree. It’s about preparing yourself to make a difference.

As a student in the Georgia Southern Honors College, I’ve worked hard to maintain a 4.0 GPA while pursuing research opportunities, serving my campus and community, and preparing for a future career as a Physician Assistant. My goal is to use my education to provide compassionate healthcare, advocate for patients, and help others live healthier lives.

I am incredibly grateful for the Miss America Opportunity and the scholarships it provides. Those scholarships are not simply financial support—they are investments in young women who are working to create positive change in their communities and professions.

4 Points of the crown, day 1:
✨ SUCCESS ✨

I have learned that success isn’t always found in the moments when everything goes according to plan.
Sometimes success looks like showing up when you’d rather stay home.

The day after my second catastrophic knee injury, I wanted to do exactly that. I wanted to stay home, cry, and wonder why I was facing another setback after working so hard to come back from the first one.

Instead, having the opportunity to serve my community gave me hope and purpose, as I gave a charge to support adoption awareness for the mayor’s youth council.

That experience taught me one of the most valuable lessons of my life: success is not the absence of obstacles—it’s the decision to keep moving forward despite them.

Some of my greatest growth has come through disappointment, injury, and adversity. Success isn’t measured by how many times you fall. It’s measured by how many times you choose to rise.

Honored to stand with the American Heart Association through Go Red for Women ❤️

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death for women, yet so much of it is preventable through education, early detection, and proactive care.

As a future healthcare provider, this mission is deeply personal to me. Advocacy doesn’t stop at awareness—it’s about empowering women to understand their risk, take control of their health, and have access to the care they deserve.

One heart for this cause can change many lives for the better. Please join me in supporting women’s heart health and the Miss America Scholarship Foundation by making a donation through my spot fund: spot.fund/KaitlynJaneTanner

✈️🇺🇸Red, White, and Blue Angels🇺🇸✈️

This weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to have dinner with some of the crew, and even attend their practice show as a VIP for the Vidalia Onion festival on the 80th year of the Blue Angels! This was so surreal for me as I’ve grown up watching the Blue Angels shows for as long as I can remember. As we approach the 250th birthday of the USA, moments like these deepen my gratitude for the men and women who protect our freedom and proudly showcase it through their skill, teamwork, and unwavering commitment. I am forever grateful for this amazing opportunity, and especially for the hard work and sacrifices of these incredible individuals❤️
