A Multi-Informant Qualitative Inquiry on Intergenerational Identity Integration in LGBTQ+ Parent Families

Family experiences influence how we understand ourselves and the world around us. This study aims to better understand how individuals describe their experiences growing up in LGBTQ+ parent families, as well as how LGBTQ+ parents describe their experiences raising children. Topics may include family relationships, conversations, and meaningful experiences over time.

To participate, you must be 18 years or older and meet one of the following criteria:
Be an adult who was raised by at least one LGBTQ+ parent for the majority of your childhood, OR
Be an LGBTQ+ parent with at least one child age 18 or older, whom you raised for the majority of their childhood.

Participants will take part in a 60-90 minute virtual interview about their family experiences and will receive a $25 electronic gift card as compensation.

I was thrilled to host CUNY LGBTQ+ Centers Day at CSI today with colleagues from across the city! It was a day for colleagues who run LGBTQ+ Centers across CUNY to connect, share ideas, and keep up the great work we are doing to foster community. Always great being in community!

In our 9th year, CUNY’s largest celebration of Pride will be in Times Square!

Enjoy drag performances, live music, dancers, free giveaways and more on the most exciting stage in NYC!

The event kicks off at 5pm on Broadway at 46th Street.
