NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine at A-State EMS

Our NYIT COM Paramedic Program offers a variety of educational opportunities for our students, such as round table discussions with the D.O. students, high-fidelity simulation training, and our favorite…the cadaver lab.
Our students have the chance to practice invasive skills in this lab that greatly enhance their education and development.
The cadaver lab is also made special by the anatomy teachings of NYIT COM doctors.

Our students make this program special and they portray and practice the professionalism demanded of them. We are incredible proud of our student.

Our new Spring 2026 paramedic class got in some good IV training before snowmageddon began.
Say a prayer for all our students working on the ambulance and fire truck during this weather. There are no snow days for first responders.

We had our CoAEMSP accreditation site visit this week and it couldn’t have gone better.
JC and Phillip were incredible site visitors and made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. Our program received a stellar report. Thank you to all that joined us in site visitor meetings

Our Fall 2025 EMT students are having a blast. Instructor Jena Woodside is doing an incredible job of bringing active learning activities into the classroom and getting the students engaged and immersed in learning. That’s what it’s all about.
