Radio Park Elementary School

Congratulations to valedictorian Melinda Wu and salutatorian Aaron Le! The valedictorian award is earned by the student with the highest academic rank in the senior class, while the salutatorian holds the second-highest rank. Interestingly, both students are Radio Park Elementary alumni, so kudos to those teachers! Wu will attend Princeton University in the fall and Le is headed to MIT, with both majoring in chemical and biological engineering.

Happy last day, Mini Lions!

One of the great newish traditions here at RP is our fifth graders hoisting up the new flag for our school on their final day here. Big thanks to the wonderful Mrs. Foard for coming back year after year to MC this special event.

So much to celebrate at our End of Year Awards Assembly!

First Grade students wrapped up their fictional writing unit with a character meet and greet. Each first grader designed their own book series character and wrote small moment adventures for that character.

Students then brought their character to life by creating a keepsake stuffy! Today we got together as a grade level to introduce our characters and read our stories to one another.

Bubbles! Bubbles! Bubbles! Second Grade celebrated the end of STEM this last week by blowing bubbles with 3D printed bubble wands.

It was great to celebrate our Mini Lion seniors today!

Today’s beautiful weather has us still thinking about our awesome Field Day last week. BIG thanks to Mr. Moriarta and so many volunteers for making it happen.
