Thanks to our amazing PTO and some solid fundraising efforts, our gaga ball pit is all shiny and new and ready for students this fall!

Thanks to the RP PTO, we are continuing the tradition of books being hidden around Radio Park. My family and I have been doing this activity for a few years. We come to Radio Park once a month in the summer (June, July, and August) and we hide a variety of books around the school. The books can be found anywhere on Radio Park property. At the bottom of this email you will find photo clues to where the books are found. If you find a book, instructions on what to do if you find a book are included with the book. This is a fun free activity.

Please only one book per child but feel free to look to see how many books you can find (there are 12 ​hidden this month). I hope you have as much fun finding the books as we did hiding them. Look for another email from me when we hide the July books. Happy looking!

Congratulations to valedictorian Melinda Wu and salutatorian Aaron Le! The valedictorian award is earned by the student with the highest academic rank in the senior class, while the salutatorian holds the second-highest rank. Interestingly, both students are Radio Park Elementary alumni, so kudos to those teachers! Wu will attend Princeton University in the fall and Le is headed to MIT, with both majoring in chemical and biological engineering.

One of the great newish traditions here at RP is our fifth graders hoisting up the new flag for our school on their final day here. Big thanks to the wonderful Mrs. Foard for coming back year after year to MC this special event.
