Grace Lutheran Preschool is a Christian Preschool and Kindergarten for children ages 2 years 7 month

As a Private Academic School licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, our school is focused on the development of the whole child – academic, social, emotional and behavioral, using Christian principles as our guide. Our goal is to ensure students are fully prepared to transition from preschool to kindergarten, within our school or elsewhere, and ultimately on to first grade. Our page gives an overview of our educational programs as well as many events that take place at our school. We hope to convey a sense of the caring learning environment that we offer our students as well as the family activities that draw us all together.

Qualifications include a BS in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a BS in a related Human Services field with experience working with preschool-aged children. Grace Lutheran Preschool’s Open House is Thursday, January 29th from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Grace Lutheran Preschool has been serving the State College and surrounding communities for almost 60 years. We offer morning classes for children ages 2 yrs. 7 months through 5 years old. Students 3 - 5 years old are eligible to add Early Arrival and Afternoon Enrichment. Grace welcomes families to tour our school and meet our current teaching staff. Registration Forms for the 2026-27 School Year will be available and can be submitted during the Open House.
