Save the date! All members of the community are invited to attend our open job fair on June 17.

The State College Area School District is looking to fill numerous open positions as we prepare for the 2026-2027 school year. If you have a desire to work in the education field, we’re looking for you!

We are seeking paraprofessionals, bus drivers, substitute teachers, athletics, food service and CEEL staff, as well as custodians. Our district has a stellar reputation for being an outstanding place to work and offers some of the most competitive wages and benefits in Centre County.

The Support Staff Job Fair will be held Wednesday, June 17, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Panorama Village Administrative Center. Please come at any time throughout the day.

As the school year winds down, Mount Nittany Elementary School celebrated our last Fun Run Reward with a teacher/staff Inflatable Race!!! It was great end of the year send off! We also did a send off to our construction crew with the MNE school song and a big thank you!

Today we celebrated Kindergarten with their end of the year concert. A huge thank you to Mrs. Upcraft, Mrs. Rockey, Mrs. Ondik, Ms. Hannah, Mrs. Burns, Mrs. Dale and Mrs. Rebarchak.

Fifth graders wrapped up their elementary IM year at the district wide track meet this past Tuesday. Checkout some of the intense moments, fun times and great sportsmanship! Way to go 5th graders on your last Mount Nittany Elementary School IM outing. Thanks to our coaches: Mr. Brackbill, Mrs. Nyman, Mrs. Laninger and Mr. Colin!

Monday was a big day at Mount Nittany Elementary School. We hosted our school picnic as well as the first grade talking book fair. First grade participated in our annual Talking Book Fair Project featuring a favorite book from the year. Our first graders did an amazing job presenting their projects to their families!

What a busy time of the year for the students and teachers! Lots of fun days. Last week our third graders spent the day exploring nature at Shaver's Creek. They rotated through several stations and even came across an unexpected visitor(snake)!! It was a fun filled great day.

Yesterday we had beautiful sunny skies for the 49th Annual 4th Grade IM Track Race. We had Lion Cubs participated in all the events and had a great turn out! Congratulations 🎊 to all the participants.

What an amazing night at the 2nd annual MNE Talent Show. Such amazing, brave and confident students we have here! 19 acts showed off their talents. Thank you to Stacy Olenoski, Sara Anne Gutting and the MNE PTO. Your coordinating efforts were amazing! The students and the school appreciate everything you do.
