Good Shepherd Lutheran Christian Preschool

We went on an African Safari this week in class! We had our own Safari bus that we decorated, looked at pictures and learned a lot about the wildlife in Africa, including what they sound like - many surprised us! We explored the different ways that people live, including methods for building the houses. We also had lots of fun playing outside with the little bit of snow and ice that's left.

A year of fun so far! What a great school year we've been having.

And that's a wrap of the 2024-2025 school year! We finished with a dinosaur party, an indoor beach day, outdoor beach day, and one last fun day! Thank you so much to the families who trust us with your little ones this year! It was an incredible year! We pray everyone has a wonderful summer!

We've had some very special classroom parent visitors this week! Thank you so much to Ms. Kate from Dolce Vita Desserts for a tasty and FUN cookie workshop! She brought dino shaped sugar cookies and all the tools for us to decorate our own cookies. It was DINO-MITE!

Then another thank you to Mr. Houck, a chemist and professor at Penn State, for the fun chemistry lesson and demonstrations! We learned about matter, monomers and polymers, did dry ice experiments, and got to make two types of slime - one to take home and one we got to eat! What a fun week we've had so far!
