Tough start to the morning. They partnered with a team from Ohio, but as it will sometimes happen, things did not go as they planned or practiced together.

What a wild day it was today. The ups and downs of the matches. They finished the day ranked 29th out of 85 teams in their division. They partnered with two teams from China and one from Singapore. Their average score is currently 227.67. By comparison, their average score at the Iowa state tournament was 64.33. The level of play here is incredible even if I have strong doubts that most of these elementary teams designed and built their own robots. (I know that our team did.) One more day and then Coach Diser and I will be heading home after 10 days in St. Louis.

On their last match for today they teamed up with a team from Singapore and scored 229 points together. Two more matches tomorrow!

Their 7th match was with another team from China. They worked together to score 249 points!

Match #6 with a team from Florida. They teamed up for 267 points!

Partnered with a team from Arkansas for a score of 80 points on their 4th match. They also managed to get in two skills runs this morning.

Third match was with a team from Michigan. Only a score of 36, but our boys scored all of those In spite of the other team having a more complex robot.

Their 2nd match was with a team from Nevada. They worked together to score 280 points and are now 15th out of 85 teams in their division.

For their first qualification match they partnered up with a team from China and scored an amazing 261 points together.
