Introducing our final core value, Sincere Friendship!
Sincere Friendship is the foundation of the relationships that make our sisterhood so special. Hear from Hailey Weeks and Rylie Turlington as they share what this value means to them!
“To me, Sincere Friendship is the greatest of Pi Phi’s core values. It represents the loyalty, compassion, and support we show one another. Through Pi Phi, I have met so many girls who demonstrate these qualities every day, especially my best friend, Rylie! Although we met late in the first semester, it feels like we have known each other forever. In such a short time, we have created the deepest connection and the most fulfilling bond. She demonstrates sincere friendship by celebrating my successes, big or small, and making everyday moments fun and exciting. Together, we have made the best memories that I will cherish for a lifetime. My heart is so full thanks to Pi Phi and the friendships I have developed within our chapter!” - Hailey Weeks (MC ‘25)
“To me, sincere friendship means having friendships that allow us to be our true selves with the promise of lifelong connection. Becoming a Pi Phi has allowed me the opportunity to create wonderful, lasting relationships at State with girls I would have never before been given the privilege to connect with. One significant example of this is my best friend Hailey. After meeting Hailey our Freshman year through Pi Phi, we instantly clicked, and since then we have always been together. As two out-of-state students, navigating college was overwhelming, but our friendship made State truly feel like home. The friendships I’ve found within Pi Phi have made me feel supported, encouraged, and genuinely valued. They have shaped my college experience in countless ways, and for that, I am incredibly grateful to call Pi Phi my home!” - Rylie Turlington (MC ‘25)
