Did you know that NASA’s Stennis Space Center in south Mississippi is America’s largest rocket propulsion test site?🚀
Last Wednesday, traveled to the Stennis Space Center, toured the NOAA Buoyancy Center, and were given the chance to meet the Navy Meteorology/Oceanography research group! What an amazing opportunity!
We love to see all things , and this one is definitely one to highlight!

Reminiscing on the 24th Annual Southeast Severe Storms Symposium!
From powerful insights shared by FOX Weather meteorologist Craig Herrera to celebrating our own Sadie Morris and Mark Kimoto as they received FOX Weather Graduation Chords, this year’s event highlighted the curiosity, connection, and commitment to serving others that makes the MSU meteorology community special!
We are beyond thankful for each person and attendee that made this event possible, and we are grateful for our ongoing partnership with FOX Weather that continues to support our students through scholarships, mentorship, and professional opportunities that help them grow into the next generation of weather communicators, forecasters, and everything in between.

Huge shoutout to the Department of Geosciences staff for taking care of our students during the winter weather!
The staff passed out emergency bags to students during the inclement weather, and we are so thankful for their generosity and thoughtfulness.
This is what it means to be part of the GeoDawg family. When you see a staff member, be sure to let them know how great they are!🤍
