Our students had a blast at field day! From playing on the bouncy houses, using a bow and arrow, climbing on the rock wall and so many other fun things! Thank you to all of the parents and staff who came out to help with our field day! 🐝

Welcome to the Hill! We loved hosting families and our sweet first graders for 2nd Grade Open House last week as we prepare for a new school year! Students and families were able to meet administrators and teachers, visit our classrooms, ask questions and begin to get excited about their next school adventure! We can't wait to see you back at Ward Building in July!

Hanging, climbing, bouncing... whatever it takes to get our energy going for learning! We love enjoying the nice weather on our newly redesigned 4th grade playground. Have fun, Jackets!

Can’t let the day get by without wishing a very Happy Principal’s Day to our fearless leader, Mr Forbes! Thank you for all you do to support our teachers, staff, students and families on the Hill!

Our 4th grade pep rally was so much fun! Our 4th graders got hyped up for their test by our cheerleaders, the Armstrong Band, and MSU football players! We are so proud of our 4th graders and all the hard work they have put in this year! 🐝

Earlier this week, we had a special visit from the students in the Agriculture and Natural Resources pathway at Millsaps, who lead a hands-on presentation about wildlife species and wildlife handling. The collaboration with the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science offered students an upclose look at animal bones, hides, shells and even a few live reptiles. Our high schoolers demonstrated how to hold the animals and gave students the chance to touch for themselves!

Yesterday we celebrated our wonderful office staff for Administrative Professionals Day! Thank you for all you do to create a welcoming and helpful learning environment for our students, parents and staff!
