HWS Parents, SOCSD will resume TWO optional morning carpool shuttles on Thursday, July 30 in an effort to ease traffic flow during Starkville road construction. We will offer a Bridgeway Shuttle and Yellow Jacket Stadium Shuttle from 7:00am until 7:30am, running to HWS each morning.

Routines take practice, and our 3rd graders spent some time practicing "Morning Work" in math class this week. They will learn to work on their own each morning, but Ms. Mosley and Ms. Wardlaw took a few days to give instructions, walk with them through problems and answer questions. Great work, Jackets! You've got 3rd grade!!

What's happening on the Hill today? Ms. Vance's class began the day talking about classroom expectations and had a lively discussion about "what I can control" and "what I can't".

Back to school! We have LOVED welcoming students back to The Hill this week to begin a new year of learning. We can't wait to see how much you grow this year!

Parents, as we begin school this week, please make note of the HWS Carpool Map and instructions for drop-off and pick-up. Please allow for extra time and watch carefully for direction from SROs. We look forward to welcoming our kiddos to class for the new year!
