That’s a wrap on our Summer Canning Series!

We ended the series on a spicy note by learning the art of water bath canning while preserving delicious pickled jalapeños! Participants gained hands-on experience, built confidence in safe food preservation practices, and took home a jar full of flavor.

Thank you to everyone who was able to participate. I enjoyed sharing tips, techniques, and plenty of tasty recipes along the way. I hope you’ll continue preserving the flavors of the season and putting your new canning skills to use at home!

Session 2 of the Summer Canning Series was all about spicy Creole sauce—packed with bold flavors and safely preserved to enjoy all year long. There’s something satisfying about hearing those jars seal and knowing the pantry is one step closer to being stocked.
