Congratulations to John Galatas, a 2016 MSU Sport Administration alum, who will join the Middle Tennessee State University media relations staff this summer, where he will serve as SID for the Blue Raider volleyball and softball teams. at MTSU, Galatas will join 2015 MSU Sport Admin alum Eric Beovich, who currently works as SID for the men's basketball, women's golf, and women's soccer teams.

Congratulations to Shawn Wagner, a 2015 MSU Sport Administration alum, who has been promoted to full-time academic advisor with Florida State Athletics. Wagner had spent the past year at FSU as an intern in athletic academic services.

The Florida State University Shawn Wagner joined the Florida State University Student-Athlete Academic Services staff in May of 2015 as an intern. He joined the staff full time as an advisor in May 2016.

Research by Colin Cork, who received his master's degree in sport administration (2014) and bachelor's degree in teaching and coaching (2010) from Mississippi State, was recently featured in a news release from the University of Arkansas. Cork is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in sport management.

Research by Professor, Student Looks at Sports Sponsorship in New Way Terry Eddy, an assistant professor of recreation and sport management, and Colin Cork, a doctoral student in the program, published an article in the journal Sport Marketing Quarterly about their study.
