Recently, the Mississippi State University Career Center had the opportunity to host this year’s Rivals Retreat, bringing together career services and recruitment professionals from across the SEC—including Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Auburn, and Alabama. While the competition may be fierce on game day, this retreat reminds us that collaboration is the real win when it comes to supporting students.
Through professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and the exchange of innovative ideas, our team gained valuable insights to help better prepare students for internships, career fairs, job searches, and life after graduation. Events like Rivals Retreat strengthen partnerships across universities and ensure we continue providing students with the resources, connections, and career readiness skills they need to succeed.
