Fashion Board holds such a special place in my heart. I love how it’s not only a creative outlet, but also a place for you to express yourself and be celebrated for it. One of my favorite parts of Fashion Board is being constantly surrounded by driven, passionate, and creative individuals who all share the same goal: to make each show as magical as possible! The true magic of fashion board though is that each and every member is so uniquely different, and everyone brings something special to the table! Being able to serve on exec for the past 3 years has pushed me to grow so much and only deepened my love for FB. I’ll be forever thankful the scared & timid freshman me took a chance on herself by applying! She’s definitely freaking out right now! I love FB with all my heart & it’s my greatest joy to serve as President this year! I can’t wait to get this year started!

Fashion Board has been the grounding force  I needed to get through tough days. It is where I can express my creativity without the pressures of a grade. It has given me numerous opportunities and even more friends, and for that I’ll always be grateful for FB and the people who make it what is it today.

I love Fashion Board because it gives me the chance to embrace confidence and express my creativity. For the past two years, it has been my favorite midweek escape from school — a place where I can reset, recharge, and have a blast. There’s nothing better than spending Wednesday nights strutting the runway with my best friends! I also love how diverse and welcoming Fashion Board is. This year, I’m beyond excited to serve as Head of Models alongside my sweet friend Ava!

Why FB? 💖 @ .m.01 My whole life I have always loved color, accessories, hair, makeup, clothes, and all things sparkly. Since I was little, I had always dreamed of going to New York or Europe to find people who had the same passion for fashion as me. But little did I know, I wouldn’t have to go far to find them. While I still dream of traveling, I found the people I was looking for right at State. When I joined Fashion Board I was welcomed with such kindness and felt like I truly belonged. In this club, everyone comes together to use their skills and creativity as one while still expressing their individuality and personality. I have met so many amazing people and have made so many amazing friends through this organization and I am so so grateful for them.
