Our ANR Agent, Sam Floyd, had the opportunity to speak and provide a demonstration at the Master Gardeners State Conference this week!

She demonstrated how to create kokedamas and macramรฉ plant hangers, two creative ways to display plants and add a unique touch to any space.

Sam had a great time sharing these techniques and connecting with fellow gardening enthusiasts!

Our Multi-County Row Crop Meeting earlier this month was a great success, with producers and agricultural vendors from multiple counties in attendance. We truly appreciate everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to join us!

A special thank you to our event sponsors for helping make this program possible. Your support of Mississippi agriculture and our local producers does not go unnoticed.

We would also like to extend a big thank you to Blue and White Restaurant and Gibsonโ€™s Full Serv for catering the meal. The food is always a huge hit thanks to these two outstanding local businesses!

If you were unable to attend, you can still access valuable agricultural updates and economic resources through the Mississippi State University Extension Service Agricultural Economics Program.

๐Ÿ”— Agricultural Economics Website:

๐Ÿ”— 2026 Crop Budgets:

These resources provide current outlooks, enterprise budgets, and decision-making tools to help producers plan for the 2026 crop year.

Thank you for your continued support of Extension programs here in the Delta! ๐ŸŒพ
