Last Spring we planted seeds in our classroom to learn about the Life Cycle of Plants and let our friends take their tiny sprouts home! 🌿 One of our Kindergartners sent us this update and it is huge! Way to go, Katy!!!

We had SO much fun at the Chili Cook-Off! It was amazing how many people came out and supported Willow Tree ❤️ We sure felt some serious love! Thanks to everyone who stopped by our tent and ate up our 7 gallons of chili! 🌶

Don’t forget to come to the Star Chamber of Commerce Chili Cook-Off tomorrow and support Willow Tree! Public tasting starts at noon!

Here we go! Letter A! There are soooo many fun ways to practice our letters and this is just one of them that our kids LOVE! You can do this at home with markers, bingo dotters and even extra stickers you have laying around! Happy Learning 😊

Willow Tree has officially entered into the Star Chili Cook-Off! 🌶 We would love to have you there and support this local event! There is a People’s Choice Award that you get to vote for during your attendance🏅And 25 booths so you will definitely leave with full stomachs 😎 Tasting starts at noon! Have you ever wondered what we do here at Willow Tree? We will be filling you in with a monthly newsletter so our families can reinforce our learning at home! Spending time working with your littles sparks their fire and really gets them wanting to learn! Having an open communication with our parents is a huge part of our Willow Tree community and a monthly newsletter is the cherry on top! ❤️

Willow Tree has openings for our Summer Program!

Join us for 5 weeks of fun themes and learning! We have spots available in all our classes.

Preschool Classes (3-4 yr olds): Tuesday/Thursdays AM or PM
PreK Classes (4-6 yr olds): Monday/Wednesday/Fridays AM or PM

Our AM classes run from 9-12:00 & our PM classes run from 1-4:00

We charge $30/day and will provide snacks, art projects and much more for your kiddos!

*All children must be potty trained*

Willow Tree went to the movies this weekend! FIFTY FOUR of us got to watch Hop together and it was seriously so much fun ❤️ Thank you to our awesome families for spending some time with us! We are working on planning more and more events outside of school and building those relationships ☺️ Hope to see you there!

Our first annual Teddy Bear Tea Parties were a major success! We had so much fun spreading some love on Valentine’s Day ❤️ What a way to celebrate by getting fancy and singing karaoke! Happy Month of Love from your Willow Tree friends! Huge thank you to our families for bringing treats and a huge shoutout to our teachers for pulling off FOUR parties in TWO days!!

I is for ICE CREAM! We had so much fun making our very own delicious treat!

Our friend Carter really went big with our Blue Bag activity! He brought in his horse for letter H this week! Way to go, Cowboy Carter!!

We have the BEST families! ❤️ Each class has a little blue bag we send home with one kiddo each week. Their job is to bring something to share with their friends that starts with the letter we are working on. This week’s letter is D! And this family found a double bingo! Duck Donuts 🍩 You could say the kiddos were pretty excited about this 😂 We are so lucky to have such amazing parents that love to be involved in our learning!

Willow Tree Learning Center is looking for a Preschool Assistant Teacher who has a love for children and knows the importance of Early Childhood Education! You must be a fun, loving person who is willing to enjoy a nice, pretend meal prepared by a 4 year old. This position will be super part time in the beginning, but we will add more hours and responsibilities as we get more kids enrolled. You must have 2 years of experience working with children in a school/daycare setting.

Hours: Tuesday and Thursday from 8:45-12:30. There is potential for these hours to be bumped to 8:45-4:30 as we get more kiddos enrolled.

Responsibilities: You will assist the lead teacher during class time. Helping with center rotations and facilitating learning moments for our kids will be top priority. Our classes are 3 hours long, so you will provide a helping hand with the fluidity of our day in a class of 8-10 kids that are 3-4 years old.

*You must pass a criminal background check and have or be willing to obtain CPR/FA Certification*

Happy Graduation to these AMAZING kiddos 🎉 I am so so proud of everything they have learned over these last two years at Willow Tree! Hopefully they’re leaving with full hearts and the confidence to walk into Kindergarten and ROCK it!!! We are going to miss you so much and will cherish every silly memory that we have made together ❤️ WE LOVE YOU!

We had so much fun representing Willow Tree at Star’s co****le tournament! We even came out with FIRST PLACE in the social division! 🏆 They have a co****le tournament once a month at Blake Haven park for their Saturday Market! If you want to play, check them out!

From caterpillars, to chrysalises, then to butterflies 🦋 We LOVED watching the Butterfly Life Cycle happen right before our eyes! Setting them free and saying bye was bittersweet and definitely entertaining 😂
