Mrs. Cutlip’s 6th Grade World Civilizations students stepped back in time with the Paleolithic Simulation Game! Students worked together as bands of nomads, traveling from station to station and relying on one another for survival.

Along the way, they had to find water and shelter, hunt for meat, gather food, survive extreme weather, and face unexpected challenges—from evading a saber-toothed tiger and hunting a woolly mammoth to having their supplies taken by another band! 🦣🐅

This hands-on activity gave students a chance to experience just how important teamwork, adaptability, and access to resources were for early humans.

Calling all Star community businesses! We’re inviting local businesses and organizations to host a Trick-or-Treat Booth at this year’s Star Spooktacular! Set up a table, decorate it spooky or silly, pass out candy, and connect with families in our Star community.

We’re also looking for candy donations, event volunteers, and cake walk donations to help make the night a success!

Our 7th & 8th Grade B Teams had the opportunity to watch the College of Idaho volleyball team in action and even meet some of the players! This was an extra special experience because our very own Mr.Young’s daughter is a member of the College of Idaho volleyball team.
