LINCOLN COUNTY FAIR EDUCATIONAL BOOTHS.
Contact the Lincoln County Extension Service at 870-628-4247 to sign up. Spaces are Limited so don't delay. Displays must fit in an 8ft by 3ft area. Tables will be provided. The display may be on a trifold board or a freestanding backdrop. NOTHING may be attached to the back wall.

Our Lincoln County Extension Office "Village" includes some amazing EHC (Extension Homemakers Club) members, an awesome JBE teacher (who took time out of her summer to help), and not pictured, a neighboring county Extension FCS Agent! Mrs. Ann is a member of the EHC Star Quilt Club, Mrs. Cathy is a member of the EHC Delta Divas, and Mrs. Amber Hairtston is the Ashely County FCS Agent/Delta District Food Preservation Specialist, who loaned us all of the canning equipment and set us up for success! Mrs. Jennifer Stone, Jimmy Brown Elementary teacher extraordinaire, brought all of the excitement to making Strawberry Jam! During our "Make It Monday" camps this July, participants learned and practiced a variety of skills with real-world applications:
*Measuring dry, liquid and solid ingredients
*Handwashing and basic food safety precautions
*Knife skills
*Baking skills
*Stove-top cooking
*Water bath canning
*Measuring, marking and cutting fabric
*Ironing skills
*Sewing on a sewing machine
Lincoln County 4-H has several club opportunities beginning in September covering a variety of topics:
9/1 - STEAM Team at the Star City Library 3:45 p.m.
9/24 - FCS Club at Extension Office 3:45 p.m.
9/30 - Livestock Club at Extension Office 3:45 p.m.

What a month! Mondays in July were truly a learning experience for all involved! These young participants made 4-Ingredient Biscuits, Strawberry Jam & Grape Jelly, Bandana Pillows and Tote Bags. It is safe to say that a good time was had by all! Join us for more activities throughout the upcoming year. In 4-H we believe in "Learn-By-Doing!"

🐔 Attention, Lincoln County Fair Poultry Exhibitors! 🦃

Planning to exhibit poultry at the 2026 Lincoln County Fair? All chickens, domesticated game birds, quail, pheasants, peafowl, guineas, and turkeys must have a negative Pullorum-Typhoid (PT) test within 90 days of the fair.

📅 Saturday, August 29, 2026
🕘 9:00 a.m.
📍 Lincoln County Fairgrounds

✅ Certified tester on-site
✅ Birds will be tested and banded
✅ No charge for testing

All poultry exhibitors should attend so testing, banding, and cage arrangements can be completed before the fair.
