After a 20-year break from piano, Jess decided this spring to return to something she once loved.
Just a few weeks after surgery, she stepped onto the recital stage and performed beautifully.
Her story is a reminder that it’s never too late to begin again, and that courage often looks like showing up, even when it’s difficult.

Part 1

Past Sunday was one of those days that words simply can’t capture.

After months of practicing, our students stepped onto the stage and shined brighter than we could have imagined.

We are so incredibly proud of Emily, who will be performing as the featured soloist in the closing of the UHS Percussion Ensemble concert this Monday evening. ✨

Emily began studying with us at Morgantown Piano Academy when she was just 4 years old, and this year she is graduating high school. Watching her grow into such a beautiful musician and person has been such a joy.

She will be performing a Mozart Concerto as the closing soloist for the evening with the UHS Percussion Ensemble. What a special milestone and full-circle moment. 💛

Big shout out to Mr. Orban, Assistant Band director and UHS Percussion Ensemble for making this possible.
