ILLICIT EMAIL: Stapleton Public School Staff and Patrons. Earlier this evening an illicit email, asking recipients to SEND ME YOUR EMAIL, was sent out purportedly from me. Due to illness, the football game with Anselmo-Merna has been canceled for October 9, 2026. Parents night for football and cross country will be held on Tuesday during the girls volleyball game, 10/13. This will be held around 5:15 in between the jv and varsity games.

Monday night, the National Honor Society held it's annual Induction Ceremony.

NHS candidates must meet the academic standard, which is a minimum GPA of 3.7. Then, they have to provide proof of the other requirements in the areas of character, leadership, and service. They must also pen an essay about why they would be an asset to Stapleton's NHS chapter. Each application is then put before our faculty scholarship committee.

Three of our best and brightest juniors were selected for Induction: Carsyn Gragg, Luella Joedeman, and Avery Weems. They join existing members, CJ Greeff, Coltan Clouse, and Briley Kramer.

The Stapleton Chapter of the National Honor Society facilitates a variety of activities and programs throughout the year. Red Ribbon Week, Dr. Seuss Week, a mentoring program, and a book club for secondary students, just to name a few.

Congratulations to these students for their outstanding work!

Due to Stapleton not having school on 10/12, parents will need to make sure their junior high kids are at the school by 11:45 am. We will be stopping in North Platte to pick up the McPherson County athletes at the softball complex. Please let the coaches know if you will be picked up there.
The game is in Maywood. JH Volleyball @ 2:00 and JH Football @ 3:00.
