🎻🪕 THE 2026 STAPLETON BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL LINEUP IS HERE! 🪕🎻
We are thrilled to announce an outstanding lineup for the ninth Stapleton Bluegrass Festival since this beloved community tradition was revived in 2018! From nationally acclaimed touring artists and Alabama music legends to some of our region’s most entertaining performers, this year’s festival promises an unforgettable day of music on the grounds of Stapleton School.
🌟 AMANDA COOK BAND
One of the brightest lights in Bluegrass today, the Amanda Cook Band combines traditional roots with a fresh, contemporary sound, heartfelt storytelling, tight harmonies, and outstanding musicianship. The band has performed on celebrated stages including the Grand Ole Opry, The Station Inn, and IBMA World of Bluegrass, while Amanda’s recordings have reached the top of the Billboard Bluegrass Albums chart.
🌳 REMEDY TREE
Nominated for the 2026 IBMA Momentum Band of the Year Award, Remedy Tree is a rapidly rising Florida-based Americana band rooted in Bluegrass, old-time, and folk traditions. After performing across the eastern United States, Ireland, and England—and sharing stages with artists such as Ricky Skaggs, Peter Rowan, Sister Sadie, and The Steeldrivers—Remedy Tree brings a sound that is both timeless and refreshingly original.
🎶 THREE ON A STRING
An Alabama musical institution, Three on a String has entertained audiences for more than five decades with outstanding acoustic music, tight harmonies, good-natured comedy, and irresistible audience appeal. Inducted into both the Alabama Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and the Alabama Music Hall of Fame, this legendary group offers the kind of wholesome, family-friendly entertainment that leaves audiences smiling.
📼 THE OLD MIXED TAPES
Born from a memorable campfire jam at Old Rex Music Park, The Old Mixed Tapes are a high-energy Alabama band steeped in traditional Bluegrass and Bluegrass gospel. Driving instrumentals, heartfelt gospel selections, nostalgic Americana influences, and tight three-part harmonies make every performance memorable.
🤠 COWGIRL UP COLLECTIVE
Cowgirl Up Collective delivers traditional roots, fresh energy, and a genuine connection with its audience. Julie and Bridget are joined by veteran Alabama bassist, songwriter, and entertainer Cliff Abbott to present an engaging blend of traditional Bluegrass, Bluegrass gospel, original music, audience favorites, strong instrumentation, and heartfelt harmonies.
🌊 THE BAILIWICKS
Hailing from the Mobile area, The Bailiwicks bring their own distinctive Gulf Coast flavor to the festival. The group uses Bluegrass instrumentation in a relaxed, nontraditional style they call “Baygrass”—a lively patchwork of laid-back grooves, twangy claw-hammer stompers, and take-you-to-church harmonies.
