What a day at the CLC Ag & Energy Center! 🌽🚜🍎

More than 300 people joined us for the 2026 Field Day, spending the day exploring research plots, agricultural technology, equipment, gardens and hands-on activities across the farm.

From 60-inch corn and precision irrigation to drone demonstrations, edible bean research, the opening of the Legacy Ag Trail and a busy Children’s Garden, there was something for every age and interest.

We served 288 lunches, welcomed about 70 children, parents and grandparents to the Children’s Garden, and more than 250 people stayed to enjoy the afternoon ice cream social in the Living Legacy Gardens.

Thank you to our presenters, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, partners and everyone who came to spend the day with us in Staples. We are grateful for all the people who helped make Field Day possible.
