Alyssa, Sydney, Aaron, Chris, and Tay'Shawn were our five top performers earning As on their vocabulary tests today. Also, we got to play "Roll and Round" to finish our introduction/continuation of rounding whole numbers in math.

I got word that the computer lab at SES is temporarily dismantled for summer cleaning and phone/Internet service is down throughout the school, as well. Unfortunately we will have to cancel this week's Current Events Club session. We will resume meeting next Tuesday, July 12, at 2 p.m.

For those signed up to participate in our summer Current Events Club, the first session is scheduled for tomorrow, June 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. We originally planned to hold it in the library, but will be in the computer lab instead.

We really had to cram some geometry content in this week to prepare for a district-wide benchmark assessment next week, but a good number of kids walked away with perfect math quiz scores. Many of them did just as well on their vocabulary tests!
