A HUGE Stantonsburg Elementary thank you to WAVE Church for spending their Saturday serving our school and helping us get ready for an incredible new school year! ❤️

From cleaning and setting up classrooms to spreading mulch on our playground, your team truly went above and beyond. Because of you, our teachers are walking into classrooms that are ready for learning, and our students will soon be ready to swing, slide, run, and PLAY! 🛝🌳

And perhaps our favorite surprise of all—you took the time to write each teacher an encouraging note for Opening Day. Those thoughtful words will mean so much as our staff begins a new year of loving, serving, and teaching our STARS.

Thank you for reminding us that small acts of service can make a mighty difference! ⭐️

Opening Day at Stantonsburg Elementary was one for the books! 💙⭐️

We welcomed our amazing teachers and staff back to school, renewed our vision to REACH for the Stars, and set our sights on an exciting year ahead. 🚀✨

This year’s theme is “Small But Mighty, Together We Shine!” We may be a small school, but when we work together with purpose, passion, and a shared commitment to our students, there is no limit to what we can accomplish!

We enjoyed some delicious food catered by B52 Grill in Eureka—the perfect way to fuel up for a new school year! 🍳🥓☕️

Most importantly, we left Opening Day reminded of who we are, why we are here, and what we can accomplish TOGETHER. ⭐️

A special thank you to Ms. Lane for generously volunteering her photography skills to capture the moments and memories of our Opening Day. 📸❤️

⭐️ Once a STAR, Always a STAR! ⭐️

A wonderful group of former Stantonsburg Elementary teachers recently gathered to reminisce about the “good old days” from 20-30+ years ago. Their stories, laughter, and memories were a beautiful reminder that while so much has changed over the years, the heart of Stantonsburg Elementary has remained the same. ❤️

As I listened to their stories, I couldn’t help but think about our school today. That same spirit of family, that same willingness to support one another, and that same pride in being a STANTONSBURG STAR continues to shine brightly. ⭐️

Thirty years later, the faces may change, but the heart of Stantonsburg remains the same.

Once a STAR, always a STAR! ✨

Come join us for Open House from 4:00-6:00PM on August 20. This is a floating event for everyone except Kindergarteners. Kindergartners who have not attended the Stellar Start Meeting should come at 10:00AM or 5:00PM for orientation. All others can come from 4:00-6:00PM to meet your teachers and find your Bus Stop Information. You can pay the $30 Technology Fee and attend the Title I Annual Meeting in the Media Center. Remember, parents need to update the yearly back-to-school forms in their Infinite Campus Parent Portal. We will have Chromebooks set up if you do not have access at home, but you can save a lot of time by using your APP from home ahead of time. If needed, you can also access a Needs-Based Technology Fee Waiver in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. We look forward to having our STARs back on campus soon. Call us if you have any questions.
