Farm trip for the afternoon at the Vermeersch farm - thanks, Boone for inviting there today! We had a wagon ride out to see the chickens and got to feed them. Then we continued to the Hyland cows in a pasture - they were shy at first but we finally got to pet them. We saw a snake there too and Boone’s dad caught it and let the children pet it! We let our butterflies go in a field of dandelions- they were happy to be free. Then we walked through the sheep pen and saw so many cute lambs to pet. Everyone had a chance to hold a lamb and bottle feed it - so precious 🥰 Snack time was on the blankets in the shade. The children then gathered eggs and put them in cartons - each child went home with a dozen fresh eggs from the farm. Thank you so much Vermeersch family for a great experience this afternoon.

Farm trip for the morning class - thanks, Kyle Peterson for sharing your farm, tractors, and animals with us. We saw pigs - Oreo & Wilbur; 4H cow; horse; and watched as they ground up hay bales into feed then fed the cattle. Thank you parents for coming! Sitting in the tractor and combine was a highlight along with walking in all of the mud!!!

Started Camping and Farm Units this week. We have tents, campfires, lanterns and campers to use our imagination with. Our praying mantis have hatched - there are so many!! The ducks and chicks should be here next week. We let our butterflies loose today on the farms!

Resurrection Party this morning! Parents helped with crafts, reading a book, and serving snacks 😊⛪️our prayer for you is to have a blessed Easter with your family and friends. ❤️
