We have 9 new student studio recordings to share, featuring songs from some incredible bands!

This latest group of performances includes:

Aiden — "Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous" by Good Charlotte
Aiden — "Otherside" by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Benny — "Wake Me Up When September Ends" by Green Day
Isaac — "Blur" by Riffwood
Kohler — "Ocean Avenue" by Yellowcard
Quentin — "King Nothing" by Metallica
Ryker — "Stinkfist" by Tool
Sage — "I Was Made for Lovin' You" by KISS
Sage — "The Zephyr Song" by Red Hot Chili Peppers

A few of these performances are especially unique. Isaac became the first student to perform "Blur" by Riffwood, while Sage became the first student to perform both "I Was Made for Lovin' You" by KISS and "The Zephyr Song" by Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The songs range from beginner-friendly performances to challenging songs rated 9 out of 10 for difficulty.

Learning real songs is one of the most rewarding parts of learning to play the drums. Students can work toward music they actually enjoy while building timing, coordination, technique, rhythm, and confidence.

From Green Day and All Time Low to Malcolm Todd and The White Stripes, our students have been busy recording new songs in the studio.

Congratulations to Aiden, Blaine, Elias, Isaac, Kye, Kohler, Sage, and Trey on their latest performances.

At Drum Lessons by Josh Kastleman, students learn songs they love while building real-world drumming skills through personalized instruction, the Drums In Color method, professional multi-camera recordings, live performance opportunities, and an achievement-based reward system.

Several students recently completed new studio recordings at Josh Kastleman Drum Lessons.

Moses performed “I’m Just a Kid” by Simple Plan, Ronan performed “Like a Stone” by Audioslave, Aiden performed “Sunday Morning” by No Doubt, Camden and Kohler both performed “Rebirthing” by Skillet, and Kye performed “After Midnight” by Blink-182.

Every completed song represents weeks of practice, determination, and growth. Students not only learn songs they love, but also develop coordination, timing, confidence, discipline, and musicianship through the Drums In Color system and personalized instruction.

Once a song is mastered, students have the opportunity to create a professional multi-camera studio recording and earn a custom band sticker to commemorate their achievement. They then select a new song and continue building their skills through both song learning and the Drums In Color curriculum.

Congratulations to all of these students for their hard work and dedication.

Students have been busy recording new songs in the studio during their drum lessons. Carter and Isaac performed “Dirty Little Secret” by The All-American Rejects, Erik recorded “Legends Are Made” by Sam Tinnesz, and Kohler took on “The Diary of Jane” by Breaking Benjamin.

Recording songs in the studio helps students build confidence, timing, coordination, endurance, and real-world musical experience while learning songs they truly enjoy playing. Students also perform at recitals and continue developing their skills through personalized instruction and the Drums In Color learning system.

Another incredible student concert and drum recital is in the books in Grantsville, Utah. Students from Josh Kastleman Drum Lessons performed live in front of friends and family playing songs by Metallica, Green Day, Nirvana, Weezer, Oasis, Survivor, Alien Ant Farm, Queens of the Stone Age, and more.

These live performances help students build confidence, timing, endurance, creativity, and real stage experience while playing the songs they love. From heavy metal classics to alternative rock favorites, every student brought serious energy and hard work to the stage.
