THE TEENAGE CLOUD

Teenagers may not want to talk…
but you must never stop listening,
to their sounds and their silence.

They may constantly reject your affection
but don’t you ever stop making those moves.

Teenagers will push you far away,
to see if your love is breakable.
To see where the boundary of your love lies.
Show them it is endless.

Hang on tight through these wilderness years
and keep your door open.

There will be a moment
every now and again
when they need you.
Be there.

The teenage cloud is temporary
but much distance can be covered.
Stay close.

“My husband has had hip pain for a few months which turned into a limp. He got an MRI yesterday and we found out he has bone cancer, two different kinds. There are a lot of unknowns until we can see an oncologist next week but my heart hurts. Our four little boys need their dad and so do I. I need to know there are many people praying for him. If you read this, can you please stop and say a prayer for him? His name is Brian Oldroyd. Brian Oldroyd It would mean the world to me. ❤️“
