The Georgia girls made a road trip to the Shenandoah Valley this weekend and I am thrilled they included a visit to the Barn! They requested projects that did not require a sewing machine… English Paper Piecing and my Vintage Pin Cushions were perfect. One of the girls had never sewn before and another declared this was her favorite new technique. Loved sharing the magic!

I set up my Grandmother’s Bernina in the studio today…. She bought it new in 1971 and it came with a 30 year warranty! It weighs a ton (all metal) but sews like a top. Think she would be pleased it is out and running…..
