Dear Stanford WCC Alumni and Friends,

We are happy to share that Stanford’s Day of Giving is here! It has been our honor to be able to connect with alumni in recent years at alumni gatherings we’ve hosted, and a large part of how we’ve been able to do that and continue to grow and evolve as a center has been from external funds received by the WCC from The Stanford Fund. These funds are set to expire next year, and we are looking for ways to continue to further develop our reach and service both on campus to students, and to alumni beyond the farm. We would be deeply honored if you would consider making a donation of any amount to the WCC for future programs, events, and services.

Please consider giving to the Stanford Women’s Community Center during Stanford’s Giving Day. From our community gatherings, to our STEM Mentoring Program, programs and workshops, the Gender, Equity, Justice Summit, wellness events, and more, the WCC aims to provide students with the opportunity to connect around issues of gender, equity, identity, and justice. For more information on our offerings, please visit: wcc.stanford.edu

Also - please note - gifts made by 5 p.m. (PT) on May 14 will be matched 1:1, up to $5,000, until matching funds are exhausted.

Ways you can help:

1. If you’d like to give, the direct link to donate is here: https://dayofgiving.stanford.edu/campaigns/womens-community-center

2. Re-post our Giving Day materials on Instagram or LinkedIn

3. Share this email with alumni and friends who you think might be interested in giving to the Stanford WCC!

Many thanks for your consideration! We hope to see you in the near future!

Warm regards,
The Stanford Women’s Community Center Directors

Breonna deserved so much more than this. She deserved to live a full, beautiful, and happy life instead of being stolen from this world and from us too soon. Breonna and her family deserve JUSTICE.

Today, we just want to say that it’s ok to be enraged, it’s ok to take the time to process the grief, and it’s ok to stop and acknowledge the pain, sadness, and anger that we are all feeling in our hearts for the memory of Breonna and her loved ones.

Breonna, we see you, we love you, and we will never stop fighting for you and saying your name.
