Where Are They Now? Alumni Spotlight

From campus memories to career pivots—we love celebrating where life takes our Saint Joseph’s College alumni.

Meet Heather Mullen, Class of 1989, Business Degree, now SVP of Special Projects at Goodwill Northern New England—and Chair of the SJC Alumni Board, continuing her connection and impact within the SJC community!

After more than 20 years in healthcare, Heather made a bold pivot into retail—proving that skills don’t expire… they evolve.

The leadership, problem-solving, and operational discipline she built over decades didn’t just transfer—they empowered her to step into a new industry with confidence (and have fun doing it).

Her advice for current SJC students:
Be curious. Be open.
Those two traits will take you further than you expect.

Favorite SJC memory:
“Too many to choose from—but the time spent with friends who became lifelong friends is everything. And work study payday? That meant takeout from town and everyone eating together in the townhouse common area.”

🌹 What an unforgettable evening at the Run for the Roses Gala! 🌹

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for one of Saint Joseph's College's most cherished traditions. It was a wonderful night filled with laughter, reconnecting with fellow Monks, celebrating our incredible community, and supporting the future of Saint Joseph's College.

From the beautiful venue and exciting auction to the inspiring stories and meaningful conversations, every moment reminded us what makes the SJC family so special.
