Traditional Day Camp serving Fairfield & Westchester Counties since 1962. Ages 3 - 14. We provide transportation. Long Ridge Camp is truly a very special place.
Pick-up/Drop-off or drive your child to/from Camp with extended hours. For 59 years, the Alswanger family has been providing special summers for our campers. These memories last not only throughout the year but for a lifetime! We recognize that each camper is a unique and precious individual. Long Ridge Camp focuses on your child with individual attention in order to build your child's confidence

During Thanksgiving, we take a moment to feel thankful for the vision of our founders Herm and Myrna Alswanger and Ron Parente. Their dedication and care helped create the Long Ridge Camp so many families know and love today.
They imagined a place where children could grow, make friends, and feel a true sense of belonging. That spirit still guides us, and we’re thankful for the way their work has touched so many lives.
We honor their legacy by continuing to nurture the warm, welcoming community they believed in.

LRC came to a close last Friday with our 63rd birthday celebration and a week packed with activities! It was such a joy having our campers this summer - their playful, smiling faces brightened every single day. Wishing everyone an amazing school year ahead! 🎉
