Gymnastics will also be traveling to Greenwich to face Stamford and Greenwich.

Had the opportunity to have dinner with members of the girls volleyball team at the Stamford Knights of Columbus tonight. On of my favorite events each year. Team was honored by the Stamford Exchange Club and was presented the Alan Malizia Trophy, presented to the Stamford girls volleyball city champion each year. This past season marked the team’s 7th consecutive city championship. Yep, I did say 7 in a row. Congratulations to all team members on a great season.

BOYS SOCCER TAKES DOWN WILBUR CROSS IN CIAC CLASS LL TOURNAMENT, ADVANCES TO FACE STAMFORD HIGH IN QUARTERFINALS ON SATURDAY

The Vikings boys soccer team slipped past 22nd seed Wilbur Cross last night, 2-1 at the Wilbur Cross Athletic Complex in New Haven to advance in the tournament.  The team will next face cross-town rival Stamford High on Saturday (11/11) in the tournament's quarterfinals round.  The game will be played at Darien High School and is set fora 10:00 a.m. start.  The team, which entered the tournament as the #27 seed has also beaten #6 seed East Hartford on their way to the Elite Eight.
Tickets are $5 for students. Ticket link is in the bio. Search for CIAC to get to their ticket site.
Need a big crowd tomorrow, so spread the word. And get your tickets early as Darien stadium not real big.
