We are so grateful for our Young Friends of INTEMPO, a group of precollege students from The Juilliard School and Manhattan School of Music who organize benefit concerts to support our Music School students! 🎻❤️

Last month, one of our Young Friends groups, Chordially Yours, visited INTEMPO to spend time with Ari, a Music School voice and violin student for whom they are raising money to help cover her tuition. They played Uno together and even received a violin lesson from Ari!

We love to see young musicians supporting each other. Thank you Chordially Yours!

¡Gracias, Chordially Yours!

Enjoy “La Libélula,” performed by INTEMPO's Chamber Players! 🇨🇱🎤🎶

“La Libélula (The Dragonfly),” was recorded by Chilean composer Mariana Montalvo, with text by poet Osvaldo Torres. After being exiled from her homeland after the 1973 military coup, Montalvo released Chilean folk-inspired pieces with both protest and pastoral themes. The song paints a tranquil scene of a dragonfly bathing in the river over a traditional cumbia rhythm.

Missed our performance at St. Francis? Join us for the final concert of our Hispanic Heritage Month series this Saturday, October 10, at The First Congregational Church of Greenwich!

📍 108 Sound Beach Ave, Old Greenwich, CT
