The Gamma Theta (ΓΘ) chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon empowers women to be the best versions of themselves
Delta Phi Epsilon was founded on March 17, 1917 at New York University School of Law by five courageous women, "to promote good fellowship among women students among various colleges in the country...to create a secret society composed of these women based upon their good moral character, regardless of nationality or creed." In November of 2010, the Gamma Theta chapter was established and became the first Greek organization at The University of Connecticut-Stamford.

On this day many Americans will be commemorating the hero's who sacrificed so much during the fall of the Twin Towers 16 years ago today. This event not only brought great sadness to the country, but also great strength in the people who live here, proving that we are capable of overcoming anything. As we pause for a moment of silence today, please remember that one of the greatest powers our country has is love and care, and to use that power everywhere you go. We would like to give a special thank you to not only those who saved lives on that horrific day, but all of those who came before and are still yet to come. Thank you to the men and women of our armed forces, police officers, firefighters, medical care workers, and veterans of this country. Your services are greatly appreciated.
