Northeast is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair September 29 - October 1, 2026 in the Media Center 📚📖🌟 All students will have a chance to visit the fair with their classroom teachers during the school day. More details to come!

❤ if you love seeing the beautiful blooms in Northeast’s Pollinator Garden as much as we do! 🌼🌸 🤗

Before students ended the school year last June, we invited each Kindergarten class to the back pollinator garden to help the Garden Committee plant native wildflowers. The students got to see and learn about all the native perennial flowers growing in the raised beds, and then planted a variety of wildflowers along the back fenced-in area of the garden. The results are even brighter than we could have imagined, so we’re sending a huge thanks to all of this year’s 1st Graders for making it happen! 👏 Swipe to see the wildflowers before and after “grow-up” ✨

NEPTO (Northeast Parent Teacher Organization) is having the first meeting of the school year this Friday 9/4 at 8:30am in the school Media Center. There will be a Zoom link for those who can’t attend in person. Coffee ☕️ will be available! If you are already on the mailing list an agenda will go out ahead of time. See you Friday!

It was so exciting to see all our Northeast Stars back in the building last week! 🌟

✨ 📸 SEND US YOUR 1ST DAY OF SCHOOL PHOTOS 📸✨ to be included in the 2026-2027 yearbook by emailing them to [email protected]. Please note your child’s grade level in the subject line or email body. Images should be “large or full-size”; otherwise, they will not be compatible with yearbook software.

DID YOU KNOW...NEPTO relies on your photos not just for the yearbook being made this year, but also for future yearbook photos used in the “through the years” section of every graduating 5th grade class 🤗

With Stamford Public School lunch reverting to a paid student lunch program this year, knowing where to find information can be tricky - but we’re here to help!

As detailed in our weekly Newsletter this past Monday, you can pay for school lunch through myschoolbucks.com
online or via the MySchoolBucks app after creating (or logging into) an account to add funds. Students may also pay cash for lunch in the cafeteria each day. Lunches are $3 for elementary students and $4 for middle and high school students.
