We are incredibly grateful to Senator Julie Kushner for recognizing the importance of investing in families in the Danbury community.

This funding will help Saint Joseph Parenting Center continue providing free parenting education, support, and resources to families who need it most. Together, we are strengthening families, preventing child abuse and neglect, and building a safer future for children.

We just passed the state budget, and our district is getting more than $4.2 million in new state aid for our schools - this on top of the $65 million+ we secured for our schools last year, plus millions more for organizations across Danbury, New Fairfield, and Ridgefield. This is great news for our district and state! Real money. Right here at home.
