This Hispanic Heritage Month, let’s savor the taste of tradition! Arepas are traditional Latin American cornmeal cakes, especially popular in Colombia and Venezuela, that can be served plain, stuffed with cheese, meat, or vegetables, and are a perfect way to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Making arepas from scratch with children supports their development by enhancing fine motor skills, language and cultural awareness, math and measurement abilities, and healthy eating habits. Arepas are more than just food—they’re a celebration of family, culture, and community.

💙 For Kim Gorham, Bright Horizons runs in the family.

Three of her four children - and later, her grandson - attended our on-site center for PSECU employees. She fondly remembers the meaningful connections each teacher built with her family and how the curriculum prepared them for kindergarten and beyond.

What began as convenience turned into a support system - the teachers helped Henry hit important milestones and grow with confidence while giving Kaylee the reassurance and encouragement she needed as a new mom.
