As Dr Solek expressed last evening you now enter the ranks of the CTTECH family, a network of technical high school graduates 🎓 that are there to assist each other and be there for each other for the rest of your career and life. A brand new tradition in the Wright Tech Electrical Shop!! Be proud, work hard, and never give up!!

The Electrical Shop Juniors and Sophomores worked their tails off for 2 days preparing the lighting for the Senior Prom. They knocked it out of the park!! Stunning, is the only word I can find to accurately describe the results of their hard work!!!! You did an amazing job!!

We had one contestant for Skills USA, Jake V. He performed really well during the interview process, he was excited when he was done. Both his wiring project and conduit bending assignments were completed with great skill!! We'll see how he stands up against his peers in the State!! Good luck Jake!! You did a great job, and stuck with it despite some logistical frustrations!! You did Wright Tech proud! 👍👍😊

When you have a question about the job, one option is to ask the builder. If he doesn't know, then the homeowner is another option, depending on the question. Learning who to ask is an important thought process to acquire.

Camaraderie and fellowship are another aspect of construction work and jobsites. These will be lifelong friendships, they will meet on a job 10 years from now and talk like they were never apart. Good stuff!!

Learning to install recessed lights! The student now becomes the teacher, showing his classmates what he learned. Sometimes the best way to learn something is to teach it to others! Nice work T.S.!!

A last minute push to get recessed light fixtures installed! 10 cans measured and hung in under an hour. This is how a job goes, sometimes you can coast, sometimes you put it in 6th gear and git-r-done!! Nice work guys!!

The Juniors limousine to the jobsite!! We were on production most of last cycle. The students did a great job and got a lot accomplished! More photos to follow!! 😊👍
