Had a great back to school meeting with good set of kids on Monday.
Officer team put a fun / challenging set of games together, presented state champion trophy buckles, have the annual competitive eating challenge and enjoyed a meal together.
Great job officers, looking forward to a great year !

Stamford FFA had a great group of students attend the Texas FFA State Convention this last week in Fort Worth! We had two state champion teams cross the stage and two Texas FFA Scholarship winners receiving a total of $30,000 .Several served as voting delegates at various sessions. We watched the Rangers come up short on Monday night . We had 2 speakers in the state finals and Emily finished 5th in Jr. prepared. We watched 7 members cross the stage receiving their Lonestar Degrees. We had a state finalist in Star Greenhand division(Emily) We are proud of their hard work and passion for the FFA!

The Area II Convention came to a close today at Angelo State .
Our crew had a tremendous year and in the end they claimed the LDE sweepstakes and overall sweepstakes trophies .
Emily Muehlstein and Chambree Lefevre both won their speaking divisions and advance to the state finals this July at the Texas FFA Convention in Ft Worth.Cameron Shoemaker finished 3rd in the Ag Policy division. Very proud of each of these area qualifiers. Emily was named a Area II star greenhand advancing to state as well.
We had the chance to hear Houston Koenig give his retiring area officer address.
Very proud of Houston and appreciate his service this year.
Bryson Holt and Houston Koenig were announced as state finalist for the Texas FFA Scholarship program.

It was a week full of miles traveled, practices, life lessons,making lifelong friends and memories. We are Very proud of all these students.
Poultry -talked all year about a top ten finish and did it. When the dust settled they landed in the 5th hole in a tough state contest.!
Milk Quality stayed near the top all spring and finished 9th in a challenging-deal!
Homesite fought through the rain,mud and wind , 11th was the result-not what they wanted but it wasn’t in the cards for us Thursday .
In any event, Great year .
We are very proud. Thanks for the comments and support for all of our kids.
