Dandelion days for our middle school girls!
04/28/2026
Thank you to all those who joined us for a beautiful evening at last Fridayโs Scholarship Gala! It was a privilege to honor Tony and Maria Marchetti while celebrating our schoolโs mission and motto: abiding in the truth with joy.
The generosity of the community opens the door for students to receive an education that is both academically rigorous and deeply formative. As our student speaker shared at the event, โKung students develop their skills according to the vocation which God had bestowed upon each of them, thereby redirecting education to its proper goal of academic growth with virtueโ.
This work would not be possible without your support. We look forward to welcoming you at future events as we continue this important mission together.

We hope everyone had a great Easter break! ๐ธ๐บ๐ผ
Our middle school Service Club learned today that the mothers at Malta House were delighted to receive the 11 Easter baskets they made, which included candy, snacks, onesies, toys, and diapers!
The students in the club arranged a bake sale to raise funds and asked parents to purchase the items. Their club moderator, Ms. Barnes, managed the project and brought the baskets to Malta House. Well done all!

Through student initiative and parent involvement, CKA has added another team to our ever-growing athletics program!
03/30/2026
Last week, two CKA graduates and older brothers of current 8th graders joined our all boys gym class where they shared why wearing your uniform and arriving on time matters, why the boys should work on their fitness as growing young men, and how to become well rounded athletes. After demonstrating proper push up and sit up form, the boys were challenged see how many of these exercises they could do properly in a 2 minute period, with a resting position offered to be used as needed. They quickly found out how hard these movements are and were given advice on how to improve their form. After that, they were asked if they wanted to play a sport, or โget after itโ and continue training by running the customary 2 laps that typically start off each class. While there was initially some debate, getting after it won out and the boys ran harder than their teacher had ever see them run before. The discipline and hard work were evident immediately from the influence of Thomas and Antonio. Well done! ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป

Last week, our middle school students once again attended the CT March for Life, but this year we expanded the trip by holding a private Mass in the morning at St. Maryโs Church and touring the Blessed Michael McGivney Pilgrimage Center in New Haven. After the March there was even time to stop for hot cocoa before returning to Stamford! โ๏ธ

Recently, students in Medieval history took on the roles of lords and knights and sought to survive, gain fiefs, and secure the loyalty and military support from their classmates in a feudalism game run by Ms. Masson. Several students rose from knight to lord by declaring strategic wars and garnering support from their classmates in exchange for promises of future fiefs. Several lords died in battle when their manors were overcome, leaving power vacuums for others to claim. The spirit of scheming and the ambiance of medieval disorder abounded!
