At 8 a.m. hundreds of Narren in carved wooden masks and colourful costumes began dancing, jumping and leaping through a historic old town. Rottweil in Baden-Württemberg.
The Rottweiler Narrensprung, Rottweil Fools' Jump, accompanied by music and Narren calls like "Hu Hu Hu", is a symbol and integral part of Swabian-Alemannic Fasnacht, and following rules preserved for centuries one of its most impressive and traditional events.
To give you an idea here is a replay of this morning's Narrensprung: bit.ly/3ZBNg79 It is very long, over two hours, but you can dip in and out.
