This summer, our Youth Board of teen volunteers stepped up to take on the planning and leadership of our GiGiMove Teen Thursday group!
A huge thank-you to Saanvi, Eden, Cameron, Angelynn, and Sara for your commitment to GiGi’s and for doing such a wonderful job creating activities that were both meaningful and fun. Thank you also to Isa!! for using your GenG experience as Program Lead, and the NCL volunteers who added in as assistants. We are so proud of the leadership, creativity, and heart you brought to Teen Thursday! 👏💙

Tim had the crowd in the palm of his hand.
In this video from , he takes the stage and delivers — humor, heart, and all. Growing up with three brothers who treated him like exactly what he was, their brother, shaped the kind of confidence you can't fake. And yes, he definitely tried to get out of doing the dishes.
This is what inclusion looks like in real life. Not a program or a policy, just brothers being brothers. At GiGi's Playhouse, we work to build that same sense of belonging for every individual with Down syndrome and their whole family, because when people are truly included, this is what they become. Funny, compelling, and absolutely commanding a room.

Meet Eduardo, One of our enthusiastic teen participants at GiGi’s Playhouse Sugar Land!
Eduardo always brings a positive attitude and a big smile to GiGi's! He loves learning new life skills, especially telling time and counting money. Outside of GiGi's, you'll find him singing, writing, taking walks, and playing basketball. His kind heart, creativity, and joyful spirit make him such a special part of our community. We love seeing you, Eduardo!
