Let's show our pack pride and unity and welcome the new school year by participating in our annual Chalk the Walk event! 🎨🖍️

Stafford acounty Public Schools have announced that on Monday, August 10, 2026, community members, students, families, and staff are invited to decorate our school entrances with colorful artwork and uplifting messages.

Whether you're an experienced artist or just love to doodle, everyone is welcome to help create a warm, encouraging welcome for our students, staff, and families. Draw inspiring images or write positive messages like "Welcome Back!" or "You've Got This!" to brighten the first day of school.

🗓️Monday, August 10, 2026 (Rain dates: August 8 and 9)
⏰ All day, with an 8:00 p.m. cutoff
📍 Any Stafford Schools campus

Sidewalk chalk will be available at each school, and all participants are asked to pre-register at www.staffordschools.net/ChalktheWalk.

With the closeout of the 2025-2026 school year, we would like to announce the 2026-2027 Shirley Heim Middle School Executive Board and Committee Chairs. Congratulations to the incoming leadership team and a huge thank you to the members of the PTO that have worked tirelessly and volunteered both on school grounds and behind the scenes this past year.

We are still looking to fill additional Committee Chair positions as well as seeking volunteers to help for next year's events.
