Kilroy FIRST Robotics Team 339

Kilroy FIRST Robotics Team 339 Kilroy Robotics is a FIRST Robotics Competition Team partnered with the Commonwealth Governor's School based in the Stafford VA, area.

Kilroy Robotics is dedicated to organizing, running, and introducing competitive robotics to King George, Spotsylvania, Stafford and Caroline Counties. We compete as Team #339 of the FIRST Robotics Competition year round, host the Stafford Regional for the Virginia/DC FIRST LEGO League in November, and sponsor FTC Robotics teams at area high schools, in all supporting more than 120 students each year. Our membership includes students, teachers and professionals from local businesses. Support comes from the Commonwealth Governor’s School and a number of local businesses, Our ultimate goal for this program is to make the hands on, real life experience of competitive robotics available to as many area students as we can by enlarging our program to include all middle and high schools in the area. By doing this, we can stimulate a life-long interest in science, technology, engineering and math.
