Red Apple is seeking an afternoon teacher! Hours are 1 PM - 5PM. 

Red Apple is looking for an experienced and caring teacher for our two-year-old class. This class runs from 9AM - 12PM (with an option to work two extra hours after class). 

The Red Apple seeks a part-time Preschool Teacher from 9AM to 12PM. Options to work two, three or five days a week. Extra hours may be available. Please send resume to [email protected]

Red Apple is seeking a part-time Kindergarten teacher. Hours are from 9am - 2pm.

The Red Apple is accepting applications for the 2021/2022 school year. We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic teachers for our program.

Red Apple School Opening for classes on September 10, 2020.

We apologize for any disruption to your opening expectations. We usually follow Stafford County Calendar. However, in consideration of our safety concerns for Red Apple children and families, we determined it was in all our best interest to open after Labor Day.



The new Summer Parent Newsletter 2020 will be available on our website soon.



August 25-30 Your child's teacher will email or call you to check your information and answer your questions.



September 8/9 - Orientation/Open House

You will meet your teacher, visit the School, take care of essential paperwork, ask questions, and review the arrival and departure routines. Your teacher will give you the schedule for this visit when she calls you.

We will post procedures for orientation closer to opening as we determine how best to achieve social distancing. We expect that families will make appointments on those days rather than dropping by.

BRING TO OPEN HOUSE THE FOLLOWING:

• Parents of new children need to show their teacher an original copy of their child's birth certificate or passport, or hospital certificate of live birth. (Commonwealth of Virginia requirement.)

• New children need the Commonwealth of Virginia School Entrance Health Form completed by your child's doctor that includes updated immunizations. This form can be downloaded online or in the Registration section of our website. www.redappleschools.com It is required to be signed by a doctor or doctor's office.

• All children must have two emergency contacts with addresses and phone numbers. (Commonwealth Requirement)

• Medical Administration forms are available by request. Please note that Red Apple does not administer medication unless it is for emergency purposes, such as an EpiPen. Specific written information from a doctor is required.



When is the first tuition payment due? September 1, 2020.

The link to pay, it will be emailed to you before September 1. If you would like the link sent earlier, contact us. If you do not receive it by August 31, contact us at [email protected]. Please note that the ten-day grace period is not in effect until October.



Will proper safety and health precautions will be in place?

Yes. We will follow the regulations required by the Commonwealth, licensing, and accreditation with others recommended by early childhood programs that have remained in service during this period. Our current Covid-19 policy will be posted on our website when approved.



Will there be changes in policies?

Yes, there will be temporary changes. We will post those changes when they are complete.



Substitute teachers are as important as they can be this year. If you are able and sensitive to young children's needs, please consider applying to help us by sending a letter and resume to [email protected].



We also may have a morning preschool teacher opening. We get some of our best teachers through our Red Apple families and the people they encourage to apply. Send a letter and resume to [email protected].

Some FAQs about the 20/21 school year:

When is the Red Apple opening for the 2020/2021 school year?
Opening depends on the governor and the superintendent of Stafford County schools. Like everyone, we are waiting for information. Once we become aware of the plan for Stafford County, we will develop our plan appropriate for our children. We will send out emails and post in the News section on our website as this information becomes available.

When is the first tuition payment due?
This year, two weeks before the Red Apple school begins, tuition is due. You will have a minimum of two-week notice before our school opens.

Will particular safety and health precautions will be in place?
Yes. We will follow the regulations required by the Commonwealth, licensing, and accreditation, along with others recommended by early childhood programs that have remained in service during this period.

Will there be changes in policies?
Yes, there will be temporary changes. Maybe arrival and departure will be staggered. Upon arrival, we may take temperatures of all people entering the building... People that may enter the building will be limited. Maybe children will provide some single-use supplies to keep in a box at school. However, we will inform you of these before school begins. Be assured that we have been planning and researching all the potential possibilities.

Red Apple is very fortunate to have a remarkably talented and caring staff who will do whatever it takes to provide the best program possible, in an age-appropriate and safe manner, during these unusual times. We will contact all our families about the plan for Red Apple when there is a plan in action by the Commonwealth.
