While Constitutional Carry has stopped a lot of the LTC Courses here in Texas, it has not stopped the fact that there are huge amounts of people who now own guns and need training.
I became an Instructor to teach, to see the needs of my students and lay out a path that will work in their everyday life using the abilities they already have and helping them tweak the process.
I did not become a Training Counselor to make the Almighty Dollar, though helpful to pay the bills, my goal is to serve others. I've always said, there is one way to train and multiple avenues in getting there.
Your training should be unique to you. In laying a foundation that takes you through the Basics, you can progress on to advanced training that works in your world.

Just because Texas is now a Constitutional Carry State that doesn't mean you shouldn't train.
Learn all about the gun you own, shooting techniques, firearm maintenance and more. Once you've got that down you can move into Personal Protection In The Home and then Personal Protection Outside the Home (drawing from a holster and carry modes that fit your lifestyle and your abilities). It's more than simply owning the gun, it's a mindset.

I think it's time we, the people, realize that simply owning a gun for our protection is not enough. A responsible gun owner will know that with owning a gun there is great responsibility. What is it that keeps us from training? What is it that makes us think we can pull the trigger when the time comes? You may be surprised to know that owning a gun is not going to save you or your family. Knowing how to use it and use it wisely will.
Come and train with us, learn how to use your pistol and learn how to shoot. Move into our personal protection in the home course for options you will have and the mindset you will need. Furthermore, if you expect to carry you should learn how to carry according to your lifestyle and your abilities.

Hi Everyone, today is the first day of Constitutional Carry in Texas... I do hope none of you have found yourself in trouble today. There are still laws that must not be ignored for the unlicensed carry. Find yourself on the right side of the law and train to assure you know when and how to protect yourself.
