Thank you, Coach Chris, for all you do. We will miss you during your deployment & wish you a safe trip. You have done so much for our Little Champs 1 kids and have played such an important part on our team.

Your patience, encouragement & support have helped so many of our youngest students grow in confidence and enjoy their time on the mats.

We are so grateful for everything you have given to our students & our school. We’ll be thinking of you while you’re away and look forward to having you back with us again. ❤️🥋🇺🇸

Our GBF girls trained hard last night 💪🥋 round after round, challenging themselves & each other and doing the hard things even when they weren’t easy.

That’s one of the biggest lessons jiu-jitsu teaches us. Confidence doesn’t have to come first. It grows every time you show up, struggle, learn & try again. ❤️‍🔥

It was especially great seeing lower belts connect with higher belts, ask questions & help one another work through positions. 🤝❤️

Keep showing up, keep doing the hard things & keep taking care of your teammates. The confidence will come. ✨💪

——————————————

Come train with a group of women who will challenge you, encourage you & celebrate your progress with you. 🥋🤝❤️ Our GBF program is about more than learning Jiu-Jitsu—it’s about building confidence, getting stronger & being part of a supportive community of women. 💪✨

NoGi is back at GB Stafford! 🔺

Last night marked our first NoGi Advanced Class after some time away, and it was great to see everyone back on the mats for a different style of training.

NoGi challenges us to sharpen our movement, control, timing, and ability to adapt without relying on the grips of the Gi. The pace may feel different, but the same principles of discipline, technique, and continuous development remain.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and brought such great energy to the room. Strong training and a great night with the team!

Advanced students, keep an eye on our schedule and be ready for the next one.

A great day for our GB Stafford Competition Team at the PBJJF VA Summer Open! 🔺

Our young competitors stepped onto the mats with courage, discipline, and confidence. They supported one another, faced every challenge with determination, and represented Gracie Barra Stafford with pride.

We were also proud to have our warrior Angel representing our adult team and leading by example through his commitment and fighting spirit.

The medals are special, but the greatest victories are the lessons, growth, and memories our students carry home. We are proud of every athlete who competed and grateful to the coaches, teammates, and families who supported them throughout the day.

This is what Brotherhood, Integrity, and Development look like in action. Together, we grow stronger.

Last night was a special and bittersweet one at GB Stafford as Coach Shiloh had her last training session with us before heading off to college. ❤️

Shiloh has been part of GB Stafford since Day One. She has grown alongside our school, from student to Coach, and it has been very special to watch her journey over the years.

As the daughter of Professora Jamie and Coach Michael, Jiu-Jitsu and the GB Stafford family have been a big part of her life, and she has become an important part of our community as well.

Shiloh, we are proud of you and wish you nothing but success in this next chapter. Enjoy the experience, keep growing, and know that GB Stafford will always be home.

Whenever you come back for break, your friends, teammates, and Gracie Barra brothers and sisters will be here waiting for you on the mats.

Good luck at college, Coach Shiloh! We’ll miss you! ❤️🔺

Sometimes the best memories on the mats don’t involve Jiu-Jitsu at all.

The mats looked a little different last night… Our LC1, LC2, and Juniors students traded Jiu-Jitsu rounds for a full Nerf War battle.

Move. Aim. Work Together. Have Fun.

Special Target: Birthday Boss Professor Thiago 😂🎂

A lot of laughs. A lot of memories.

More than Jiu-Jitsu. We’re building community.
Events like this give our students another opportunity to connect, build friendships, and create memories together.

Thank you, GB Stafford Family! ❤️
We’re grateful to everyone who came out and helped make Professor Thiago’s birthday celebration such a fun night.
