Band Together To Fight Hunger

Holly King, our Community Outreach staff member, and Dan Maher, our President & CEO, enjoyed celebrating a truly successful Band Together To Fight Hunger ​​ event by joining Stafford County Schools ​​drum majors for the formal check presentation during last night's school board meeting. What an awesome job the students, school administration, and band parents did this year, generating enough monetary and food donations to yield almost 57,000 meals!

Thank you so much to our community for making the 2023 Band Together To Fight Hunger a huge success. Your generosity has provided 56,786 meals to families in need.

In a beautiful harmony of compassion and unity, the Stafford County High School bands have achieved something truly remarkable! Drumroll, please... Presenting the incredible outcome of our Band Together to Fight Hunger Event held in November: a generous check of $27,055 and a whopping 56,786 meals!

This achievement exemplifies our shared values of compassion, unity, and generosity. It's more than notes on a page or beats in a rhythm; it's the melody of kindness and the symphony of support. Thank you to everyone who contributed, volunteered, and supported this incredible cause. Your efforts have truly uplifted our Stafford community!

Over the last 12 years, Band Together to Fight Hunger has provided over 300,000 meals within our community. This year, we want to raise enough money for 50,000 meals. In order to do that we need help from our community. All proceeds directly benefit the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank.
